As many of you may have heard, Student Council, with the help of several other clubs, is hosting a Fall Festival & Corn Roast this Thursday October 20! It will run from 5-7pm, and is open to Ridge students, staff, and community members.

It is a multi-purpose event: canned items will be collected at the door to be donated to Kerr Street Ministries, PINK will have a table of goodies available for sale, and several of our student clubs such as Amnesty and Global Issues council are creating a "wishing well" to begin a school collection to build a well/water sanitation system in our Kenyan Ridge community.

The cost is $5 at entry, which will get you a yummy fresh roasted corn on the cob, and all the fixins you could want! Drinks and other snack items will be available for sale.

There will be lots of fun Fall Festival games included as well, such as 3-legged race, potato-spoon racing, a live performance from our very own Ridge Teacher Bluegrass Band, and more!

The event will run rain or shine - in the back field if it's shining, and moved indoors if it rains. There will be a Halloween movie night for Ridge students following the Corn Roast inside in the forum starting at 7:30pm; students MUST bring their student cards for admission to the movie.
