10/24/11

Hola amigos de Hábitat para la Humanidad El Salvador!
We have had an overwhelming response to our call for folks who are interested in travelling to El Salvador in July 2012 to help build homes with Habitat for Humanity.

In summary, there will be three (3) separate and sequential trips during the month of July on the following dates:

July 6 - 15
July 13 - 22
July 20 - 29

Each trip will be limited to 15 students and 4 teachers/HDSB staff/Chaperones.  The approximate trip cost per student is $2300 CAD, and students will receive 240 volunteer hours.

We will be having a parent/builder information meeting on Thursday November 3, 2011 at 7:00 pm in the Nelson High School Cafeteria.  Please invite any friends that you think might be interested in travelling with us.

The evening will be structured as an information session with a question period at the end.  Instructions for registration will also be delivered.  Registration for the trips will be on a first come, first served basis.

Hope to see you all there!
