Dear Parent or Guardian,

The Halton Youth Survey is completed by students in Grades 7 and 10. The web-based survey will take place between October 1 and November 9. It is completely voluntary and will be completed during school hours with teacher supervision.

Your child’s answers will provide valuable information that will be used to improve programs for Halton children and youth. This survey is part of our ongoing effort to measure how well we’re doing and make improvements so all students have the opportunity to succeed in our schools, in our communities and in life.

Information about the Halton Youth Survey, including a link to the survey and FAQ is available on the HDSB website (www.hdsb.ca). You can also contact Frank Nezavdal in the Research Department (905) 335-3663 ext. 3381 or nezavdalf@hdsb.ca with questions.

We hope you will encourage your child to complete the survey and greatly appreciate your support in helping us improve the well-being of children in Halton.
