2/6/13

As you know, successful completion of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) is a requirement for high school graduation in Ontario for all students.

This year’s test is being written on Thursday, April 11, 2013 beginning at 8:30 a.m.  This date is set provincially and there will be no other opportunities to write the 2013 test.

In preparation for OSSLT we are conducting a mandatory practice test on Wednesday February 13th during period 1. All students writing this year’s OSSLT will complete this practice test. While the majority of students will be writing the practice test in their regular period 1 class, some will be writing in alternative locations.  Those writing in alternative locations have already been contacted directly by a teacher.  Our practice test will help to prepare students for the OSSLT and help to identify students that will be invited for additional preparation sessions.

For more information about the OSSLT please feel free to contact us at the school.

Yours truly,
