4/1/13

On Friday, April 5th, Global Issues Council and Amnesty International will be hosting a Vow of Silence in order to spread awareness about the current state of First Nations rights in Canada amongst our student body.  Participants will be pledging to stay silent for the entire day, whether it be through giving up oral communication, texting, social networking or all forms of communication.  Sign-ups will occur in the street during lunch this week, in case you would like to come down and ask any questions, or even if you would like to buy an Amnesty International bracelet.  Students taking part will be given some sort of identifier, so you will be able to tell which of your students are participating.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
