As you are aware, all public schools have been closed by the Ontario Ministry of Education in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.  At this point you should have received a number of email messages from our school outlining how Iroquois Ridge, and all schools in Halton, are going to ensure the continuation of learning during this period of time.

If you have not had the chance already, please check your email and have your Iroquois Ridge students check their Halton Board email and Google Classroom accounts.   You will find that each of the teachers for your children have sent a message to your student, and in many cases the parents of students have also been sent an email .  Our request is that parents and students reply to the message of the teacher so that we can ensure that we are connecting with everyone.

If your family does not have access to the internet or technology to reply to messages, please call the school directly, press “0” to speak to the office, and then leave a message on our general delivery mailbox.  In this message, please provide the name of your student and the specific challenge that you are having relative to accessing technology. However, if you have already spoken to, or emailed one of our teachers about this issue, you do not have to call the school. Our hope is to be able to work directly with families to help to address challenges you are encountering with regards to access to technology.

Thank you and stay safe during these challenging times
